It's been a long year filled with chaotic, divisive, and outrageous political agendas coming from the left. Today, we can add another major victory to the list of conservative progress, as Mars Wrigley has finally decided to pull their beloved spokescandies after months of heated debate between the corporate giants and right-wing pundits.
For those that don't know what I'm talking about: back in January last year M&M's released a new version of their classic characters - most notably changing up the iconic green M&M who had been known for her go-go boots for a pair of more "comfortable-looking pumps with lower block heels".
It was enough to send liberal snowflakes into a full-blown meltdown, claiming that this "empowering" new look for Ms. Green was too much for them to handle. Thankfully, someone on Fox News came out to put an end to this nonsense once and for all.
So what if these chocolatey characters were getting a makeover? As I stated on my show at the time: "When you're completely turned off by them we've achieved equity." It's simple math really - if you want true equality then everyone must be equally unattractive!
All this outrage over cartoon characters is definitely reflective of our current political climate where conservatives are carefully chipping away at what some might consider irrelevant parts of everyday culture while simultaneously dismantling civil liberties across the country. From teachers in Florida removing books without approval or consent by librarians and media specialists - quite frankly worrying about which cartoons we have access too seems preposterous right now doesn't it?But why did M&Ms concede so easily? Probably because no amount of politically correct posturing could compete with or even overshadow real problems happening around America today like mass shootings or gun wielding bigots attacking innocent drag queen readings.
If anything should be taken away from all this it should be that mindless corporate virtue signalling can only go so far before it becomes meaningless gibberish; especially compared against actual issues taking place everyday across America today which require bold solutions not marketing stunts meant solely for appeasing cancel culture mobs online who get offended by any little thing nowadays regardless how insignificant it may seem (especially when compared against real life issues). So sorry Ms Green & Co., unfortunately your respective journeys into making wokelandia come true has come to its inevitable conclusion...but here’s hoping one day you’ll find solace amongst your fellow sweet friends again soon enough once cooler heads prevail!
