Bombs Away! Junta of Myanmar Drops Bombs on Camp Victoria near Indian Border, Killing 7 and Injuring 20

The Myanmar military launched an airstrike on a training camp close to the Indian border. Apparently jets dropped at least two bombs inside India territory too according to eyewitnesses.

Breaking News: Myanmar Junta Launches Airstrike on Rebel Forces Close to Indian Border

The junta apparently seized power in a coup back in February 2021 and have been trying since then to crush pro-democracy insurgents. On Tuesday afternoon they bombed Camp Victoria located in Chin State, which is a rebel headquarters for the People's Defence Force (PDF). It's just a few kilometers away from India's state of Mizoram so not really sure how that worked out but ok I guess?

Panic Ensues as Bombs Drop Inside India Territory

Another rebel fighter said that multiple bombs were dropped from fighter jets which caused panic amongst everyone around them. Two locals from Farkawan village located in Mizoram said they heard two bombs drop on their side of the border but luckily no one was hurt! Rama who is president of Farkawan village council said that one bomb damaged a truck parked near the Tiau River which serves as the border between India and Myanmar. He also said three fighter jets and two helicopters flew over during this time which caused fear amongst people living there.

Seven Rebel Fighters Killed as Junta Continues Bloody Battle Against Pro-Democracy Insurgents

Sadly seven rebel fighters were killed during this bombing including one woman, according to a rebel commander who wishes to remain anonymous (totally understand why he doesn't want his name out there!). The rebels were identified as Salai Van Ro Piang, Salai Duh Tin, Mai Ngun Hlei Par, Mai Sui Len Par and Salai Kil Mang - rest in peace my friends :( Over 20 people at Camp Victoria were injured too... But wait it gets worse!! This isn't even new news because apparently aerial strikes have become common tactics used by this junta; they especially target areas held by ethnic rebels forces as part of their attempt to consolidate power - unfortunately violence has become something we just have come accustomed to seeing recently :/ Back October at least 80 people mostly civilians died when strikes hit Kachin State up north - so much death :/

40 Thousand People Cross Borders into India For Refuge After Raids

Due to shared ethnic backgrounds between Chin State people and those living in Mizoram there's lots of sympathy for folks living over here now heart breaking. Even so many refugees cross over into India from Chin State currently about 40 thousand people live refugee camps across Mizoram seeking safety (oh man!). Injured fighters often cross over for medical treatment too. There are even doctors coming from Mizoram going over into Burma (Myanmar) helping treat those who can't be moved after all these raids sadness . To protest all these airstrikes shops closed down yesterday across Chin state more sadness.

What Should We Do Now? Can We Stop All This Violence??

Well I'm not sure what we could do right now besides maybe raise awareness about all these awful events going on right now? Like share articles like this or sign petitions online or simply talk about it with friends?? If anyone has any better ideas please let me know!! But obviously we need more than just raising awareness; governments need step up and do more!!! We need more than words here !! Something big needs happen.... soon...before anymore innocent lives get lost :/
