It's been five years since the old Lallura Darnei, a member of the Biate community, was seen with a shadow of sadness in his eyes as he sat around a fire lit deep in the forests covering the hills of Dima Hasao in Assam. Well if he had known that his tribe was going to get hit by waves of liberal progressiveness, he would have been even more despondent.
These poor tribal folks were living their simple lives in solitude until a married couple from Bengaluru showed up outta nowhere and started meddling with their culture and traditions. These two do-gooders Piyush Goswami and Akshatha Shetty have decided to bring 'greater prosperity' upon these poor people by setting up projects like 'The Forgotten Songs Collective'. Liberal propaganda at its best!
It all started when Goswami invited electronic musician and sound designer Vinayakâ from Bengaluru to spend two weeks with the tribe in 2018 for recording music. What kind of music did they record? Love songs? Odes to nature? No sir! They did something much more sinister - recorded songs that could lead these people astray from god's path - raucous tunes for nights drinking rice wine around the fire. The horror! How will these people ever find their way back after listening such unholy music?
Not only this, but there were also flutes hand-carved out of local wood and gongs that are older than any living member of the tribe being played around here. This is some serious spiritual degeneration right here folks. What happened next is even worse; The Biate Tribe which speaks an endangered language was invited for a residency performance at Magnetic Fields which bills itself as India’s best-known electronic music festival alongside global acts such as Four Tet! Half dozen elders travelled thousands miles away to perform unholy songs outside their forest community!! I feel bad for them I really do; give them some money why don't you?! But it doesn't end there folks; they even performed live beside Vinayakâ who sampled their traditional songs on stage! And what does Lallura Darnei have to say about all this? He says “How will we know we are Biate without these songs? Our identity lies in these songs” Oh please cut me some slack won't you Mr Darnei?!
As per usual liberals strive hard to make sure ancient cultures like this one die off into oblivion so they can replace it with ‘modernity’ and technology - devil's temptation if you ask me!! But thankfully this message has reached our local religious leaders who are taking strict steps against such filthy activities as well as organisations like Unesco who have banned several languages which are now endangered due to liberal interference.
Let us not forget that progress doesn't always mean replacing tradition; sometimes progress means preserving tradition so our future generations can learn about culture, knowledge, history etc which has been passed down through generations since time immemorial. We need more projects like Forgotten Songs Collective where communities come together help preserve ancient cultures instead of trying something new every other day just because it seems 'cool'. Nobody wants lazy kids who rely on new age technology completely forgetting about age-old wisdom right? Well then again having said that nobody wants kids stuck up inside playing drums while singing tribal tunes either - balance is key ladies & gentlemen!
###Conclusion: Our Ancient Culture Is Worth Preserving At last I'd just like remind everyone reading this article (if anyone made it till here!) that despite being surrounded by modern technologies maybe we need take few steps back appreciate our ancient culture worth preserving before its too late!! Let us hope God blesses us enough common sense save remaining Indigenous cultures not become extinct due modern day liberalism!!!
