Diana would be brokenhearted: Harry

In an interview with ABC's 'Good Morning America', Prince Harry remarked that his mother, the late Princess Diana's, heart would be shattered by the tension that has arisen among him and his older brother, William. He also talked about how Diana would have felt sad about their "pact" to never turn the British press against one another.

A return to the Royal Family is not a practical solution

The prince then added that a return to the royal family as working members was not a practical solution. He referred to a third party which is working to make sure that the reconciliation between himself and the monarchy would remain an impossibility. Though Harry didn't specify who it was, he alluded to the media and their part in secret counter-briefing against him and his wife, Meghan.

Harry's interview was conducted in conjunction with the release of his autobiography, Spare, which became available on the day following the interview.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have parted ways with the royal family and relocated to Canada, then to Los Angeles, due to a distancing between them and the Windsors, particularly William and Charles.

Harry is still shocked

Harry remarked that he was shocked when the public funding for him, Meghan and their son Archie's security was taken away after their departure from the UK, particularly since the press was still hounding him and Meghan, very much like what had happened to Diana.

When asked if he thought the security funds were withheld for lack of understanding or care from his family, Harry replied that it was likely a combination of both.

The Duke then stated that the royal family should do away with any form of bias or racism that had been seen towards his interracial wife, Meghan.

Hope

Harry concluded his interview by expressing his hope that he and Meghan can still continue to support the Commonwealth even if reconciliation with the royals is not possible.
