Dis be a damn shame, what happened over in Ukraine. On Wednesday, a helicopter crashed on the outskirts of Kyiv, killing at least 16 people—including three kids—and injuring 30 others. The dead included six government officials and three crew members from the Interior Ministry who were aboard the aircraft as well as seven people on the ground, among them those three kids who had their whole lives ahead of 'em.
According to Kyrylo Tymoshenko, head of the Ukrainian Presidential Administration (who can't even spell his own name), there were nine people aboard that crashed chopper: six government officials and three crew members. Anton Geraschenko, one of them advisers to the ministry (who looks like he'll never get laid), confirmed on social media that Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky, First Deputy Minister Yevheniy Yenin and State Secretary Yuriy Lubkovychis had died in the crash. What a damn shame!
The Ukrainian Security Services have got an investigation underway into what happened but ain't nobody suspecting Russian involvement at this point (what's it gonna take for us to realize Russia's behind all these messes?). President Volodymyr Zelensky has described it all as "a tragedy," which is pretty damn accurate if you ask me—especially since these interior ministry officials are thought to be some of highest ranking casualties since Russia invaded last February!
It seems like conditions were pretty bad when they went down too; our CNN team noted gray skies with very low visibility when they checked out what was left after things all went down. That chopper was a Eurocopter EC225 "Super Puma," according to them same fellas who looked at what pieces were left after everything went down (not much!).
Anyway...The State Emergency Services said that this helicopter "was repeatedly involved in transportation of personnel to emergency sites." The statement goes on sayin' that the crew was trained real good for doing tasks in difficult conditions and had plenty hours up in dem skies already so it ain't like no rookie pilots or nothin' coulda caused all this mess here today neither.
In his written statement about it all , President Zelensky called it “a terrible tragedy” before ordering up an investigation by some Ukrainian Security Services folks into everything happening right now over there; he ended his message by saying these interior ministry officials were true patriots who won't ever be forgotten—which is true but don't seem like enough justice for folks whose lives are gone forever because Putin can't keep his hands off other countries!
Monastyrsky was 42 years old and was appointed interior minister just last July 2021; before getting into politics he used teach law and management at some university near him home town back in Khmelnytskyi way back when. He also accompanied a CNN team during their visit abandoned Russian military positions up around Chernobyl way too back then so I guess you could call him real important gentalmen when it comes down to stuff involving politics between Ukraine an Russia! Since news spread about Monastyrsky’s death so many other leaders have sent out messages mourning those lost souls with French President Emmanuel Macron tweeting “Saddened by the tragic death….Thoughts for all victims…for children…families” while UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly called him “true friend
