Meta Decides to Allow Donald Trump Back on Facebook

It looks like Meta – the social media giant – has decided that former President Donald Trump can be allowed back on both its Facebook and Instagram platforms after a two year ban because of his online behavior which would lead to an insurrection by his supporters at the US Capitol in January 6th.

People are pretty mad about this decision because it could lead to more political violence and all that stuff. But other people are also pleased with the decision. There have been a lot of colorful reactions from people who are angry at Meta for making this decision but also some politicians and commentators who think it's dangerous too.

Meta said that Trump will be able to keep saying he didn't lose the 2020 election even though we all know he did (in case anyone was wondering).
