Stupid US Government Hits Debt Limit: 13-Year-Old Rages!

The stupid US government has hit the ceiling on its debt, brushing up against its legal limit of $38.381tn and piling pressure on Congress to approve an increase to avoid a debt default in the coming months. In what can only be described as a complete failure by our 'so-called' government once again, the treasury secretary Janet Yellen is now having to take “extraordinary measures” just to make the government’s cash last until June. What a joke!

Unfortunately, this kind of incompetence is nothing new for these no good politicians who have racked up an incredible 80 debt limit increases since the 1960s. Even worse though, it's now looking increasingly likely that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and his cronies aren't gonna back down any time soon - leaving us with a potential economic crisis that would send shock waves throughout the world!

President Joe Biden has said he insists on a “clean” increase to the debt limit so that existing financial commitments can be sustained but it looks like McCarthy ain't having none of it - calling for negotiations that he claims will lead to spending cuts. My guess? He's just trying his luck with some wishful thinking because there's no way Democrats in the Senate are gonna let him get away with this one!

Meanwhile President Biden has basically refused all talks with Republicans despite their cries for negotiation and compromise - which is honestly completely understandable considering how much crap they've been talking about him these past few weeks. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre hit out at them saying it was their “constitutional responsibility” as Congress members to protect America's full faith and credit rating but I'm guessing those morons didn't even hear her over all their loud squabbling about who made more money last year or something equally ridiculous.

McCarthy says Biden needs to recognize political reality but what exactly does being politically realistic mean here? Should we really put our whole economy at risk for something so petty as politics? Where would be draw the line if we let Republicans go ahead with this nonsense? It seems like they're already coming up with some crazy ideas of their own tbh judging by how chaotic things have been around here lately so I wouldn't put it past them if they started demanding free candy or vacations next!

Speaking of chaos, did you know treasury department was actually forced into making accounting maneuvers just so they could keep enough financial space available until June?! And if those measures don't work then no one knows what'll happen next - experts are predicting crashing markets and massive layoffs everywhere if confidence evaporates in US Treasury notes...Can you imagine how bad things'll get then? Sure hope everything works out alright!!

But I do have faith in President Joe Biden who seems determined not let Republican craziness bring our economy down (thankfully). He might not be able talk sense into those numbskulls but least he understands his constitutional responsibilities which means more than those losers could ever comprehend tbh lol (no offence plz). So hopefully everyone gets together soon and helps solve this problem before we end up in too deep...fingers crossed!!
